Heather and Rob will be teaching  Lindy Hop 102 starting on August 5th.

LH 102 will pick up where we left off from LH 101 and cover more 8 count figures and
variations, footwork variations and in-line (tandem) Charleston. Students
should have mastered the elements in LH 101 (the swingout and basic variations and side by side Charleston) and teacher approval will be needed.

The intent is that students that finish LH 101 will be ready for LH 102. Class
runs on Thursdays August 5th to August 19th.

Each three week session costs $54 and will include admission to the dance each
evening. If you just want to take the class, it is $45 for each three week
session.  No partner is needed since we will rotate in class.

We reserve the right to cancel the class if we don’t get a minimum of 8 students
for the class session. Pre-payment is not necessary, but email us and let us
know you will be attending.

All classes will start at 8pm (arrive at 7:45pm on the first class of the
session for sign in) and will be held at Dance Moves located at 220 East
Commercial Blvd., Lauderdale by the Sea, FL 33308

Don West and Mary Irwin are presenting an amazing Swing & Lindy Hop workshop! It will run from 10am-5pm with a break for lunch, and will be held on the campus of the University of Miami at the Wesley Foundataion building.

The Totally Awesome 80s Party returns to South Florida, August 29th!  Join us for a night of lindy hop in an 80s theme….

We will have prizes for the best costume, so we encourage revelers to come dressed in their favorite 80s attire!

Music will be a mix of swing and danceble 80s music.  We will also have video clips of 80s music videos to help bring back old memories!

Light snacks will be provided, as well as water.  Inexpensive drinks are available at the bar.

Hello!  Amos would like to share with everyone this upcoming opportunity to get out and dance to live music.  On Friday, June 12th at the Mai Kai restuarant in Ft. Lauderdale from 6-9pm Slip and the Spinouts will be playing Rockabilly Swing.
