Frank Krar

Frank has been dancing, performing, and teaching Swing and Lindy for over 10 years. He first took up Lindy Hop in Washington, DC, where he was a featured dancer in the award-winning dance troupe Fidgety Feet. Frank is known for his smooth “Hollywood” style and his energetic footwork. He has performed with such personalities as Aretha Franklin, The Brian Setzer Orchestra, and Chicago, and was twice featured in the National Memorial Day Concert aired on PBS.

Frank is an avid supporter of the South Florida swing dance scene and can often be found teaching the recurring classes at Swing Affair’s many events. He specializes in vintage dances of the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s such as Lindy Hop, Charleston, and Balboa. Frank’s attention to detail and ability to pinpoint strengths and weaknesses, along with his upbeat and friendly demeanor make him one the area’s premier Swing instructors.

Sayra Vazquez

Sayra has been swing dancing since 1998, and started teaching Ballroom and Latin dancing in 1999. She has danced in two Superbowl Halftime shows , appeared in a Toyota Commercial, and won the WCO World Swing Chamionships in 2000.  Sayra offers private instruction in a variety of dances from Boca Raton to Fort Lauderdale.  Visit her website, Dance Dedicates, or e-mail her for more information.

Rob Tullo

Rob has been dancing for nine years and has been teaching for about five years. He is comfortable mixing Swing, Lindy Hop, Charleston and Balboa depending on the music and can show you how to do the same. Rob has traveled all over the world to dance and has taken classes from a variety of national and international instructors including Frankie Manning.

Heather Dill

Heather has been dancing since 2002. She learned mostly by taking the lessons before the dances and practicing on the social dance floor, but has also traveled across the county and taken a few lessons from swing legends Frankie Manning and Dawn Hampton. She is a very versatile dancer not only for her ability to mix East Coast, Lindy, Blues and Charelston, but because she is also an accomplished lead. So ladies, don’t be afraid to ask her to dance, and gentleman, don’t be afraid to ask for a few pointers.
